Changes for 2011

I just want to start by saying Thank You so much to all my dear sweet clients for making 2010 a year that I will not soon forget. Looking ahead to the coming year of Photography I will be making some changes to how I run my business. This was a hard decision for me to make and I spent many hours contemplating how I might go ahead with this. Unfortunately, I will no longer be able to offer 40- 80 edited Color, Black and White and Old Style in my normal packages. Instead I will be offering 20-40 edited Color, Black and White and Old Style.
I have been thinking a lot about this and feel this is the best way for me to move forward. Last year editing the typical Photography Session took me an average of 5 + minutes per image. So when you do the math on 240 images it took me on average 20 hours to edit one session and that is not including the time that is takes for the Photography Session. As a result I feel that this change must be made in order for me to continue in Photography. Also I will be charging $85 for newborns in 2011 due to the amount of time that it takes for the session. All other Sessions will stay $75.
I am working on my Schedule for 2011 and as soon as I get it figured out I will post the dates I have open on this blog. At that time feel free to contact me and we will schedule you. Photography is a very tricky business and I feel very blessed to be able to be a part of it. I understand I would not be where I am without the help of the best clients ever. Thank you so much for your support! . I look forward to 2011 and sharing the magic that will come from Photography.

Sadie

Sadie is back at 15 days new! I know you didn't get enough of this sweet little girl the first time. :) I welcomed in the New year Photographing Sadie in her Second Photography Session. As if her parents weren't going to have a hard enough time picking which ones to print. Hahaha I thought I would try my luck on some bare bottom shots with Sadie. Let's just say I had to do alot of laundry. hahaha But the shots were well worth it. :) Hope you enjoy some more of cute baby Sadie.

Austin

Here is another sweet newborn to add to your fan club. Austin was 9 days new during his first Photography Session. This handsome little man just so happens to be my newest nephew. Am I a lucky Aunt or what! He was so good during our session and put up with a lot from me. I am sure his parents are going to have a hard time picking which pictures to print. I had the honor of Photographing this cute couple over the holiday. It was a cold day but they were great sports and were ready for anything. These two will tie the knot in June and I will get to be a part of that big day as well. Thank you so much for letting me share in your fun and for letting me do what I love to do.
