I just want to start by saying Thank You so much to all my dear sweet clients for making 2010 a year that I will not soon forget. Looking ahead to the coming year of Photography I will be making some changes to how I run my business. This was a hard decision for me to make and I spent many hours contemplating how I might go ahead with this. Unfortunately, I will no longer be able to offer 40- 80 edited Color, Black and White and Old Style in my normal packages. Instead I will be offering 20-40 edited Color, Black and White and Old Style.
I have been thinking a lot about this and feel this is the best way for me to move forward. Last year editing the typical Photography Session took me an average of 5 + minutes per image. So when you do the math on 240 images it took me on average 20 hours to edit one session and that is not including the time that is takes for the Photography Session. As a result I feel that this change must be made in order for me to continue in Photography. Also I will be charging $85 for newborns in 2011 due to the amount of time that it takes for the session. All other Sessions will stay $75.
I am working on my Schedule for 2011 and as soon as I get it figured out I will post the dates I have open on this blog. At that time feel free to contact me and we will schedule you. Photography is a very tricky business and I feel very blessed to be able to be a part of it. I understand I would not be where I am without the help of the best clients ever.
